Finding & revision

The clinical claim goes beyond this study.

A retrospective study supports further evaluation. It does not establish performance in an independent clinical population.

Suggested wording

The panel shows potential for further clinical evaluation in an independent population.

From concern to change

A reason behind
every revision.

Good revision starts with understanding the issue. Keep the evidence in view, consider what needs to change and use wording suggestions where they help.

01 / UNDERSTAND

Read the reasoning.

See why the passage was flagged and how it relates to the manuscript’s methods, evidence or interpretation.

02 / DECIDE

Keep your judgment.

Copy or adapt a wording suggestion where one is provided. Some concerns require an analysis or more evidence, not a different sentence.

Re-review & compare

A new draft.
A clearer next step.

Upload your revision and see how the findings have changed. Each review round remains available, so you can read the explanation behind what is resolved and what still needs attention.

  • Compare findings across manuscript versions.
  • Keep previous reports and their evidence.
  • Re-review the same unlocked manuscript anytime.
Report history

What changed in the next draft.

A new review assesses the uploaded revision against the previous report.

01Clinical claim
Resolved

The wording now limits the claim to the evidence reported. Clinical validation is still unestablished.

02Validation methods
Partially resolved

Feature selection is clarified. The treatment of preprocessing within each fold still needs explanation.

FAQ

Before you revise.

Does Revision Assistant edit my manuscript for me?

No. Read the explanation, copy suggested wording where available, and make changes in your own manuscript editor. You decide whether to use, adapt or ignore any suggestion.

Does every finding include replacement wording?

No. Some concerns need more evidence, a clarification or a change to the analysis. The report provides actions to consider; suggested wording appears where it is appropriate.

How do I see whether an issue is resolved?

Upload the revised version of the same manuscript for another review. The new report can compare findings with the previous version, including resolved, partly resolved, remaining and newly identified concerns, with an explanation of the assessment.

Do I pay again to review the revised draft?

After you unlock a manuscript, re-reviews of that same manuscript are included. A separate research paper needs its own manuscript credit. There is no subscription.
