Service
PaperProof provides AI-assisted, pre-submission manuscript feedback. It does not provide peer review, editorial acceptance, legal advice, medical advice, or a guarantee of publication. You remain responsible for evaluating and verifying every suggestion and citation.
Accounts
You must provide accurate account information, keep credentials secure, and promptly report suspected unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity performed through your account.
Your manuscripts
You retain ownership of manuscripts and other content you upload. You grant PaperProof the limited rights needed to store, process, and transmit that content solely to operate, secure, and support the service. You confirm that you have authority to upload the content.
Acceptable use
Do not upload unlawful content, malware, confidential material you are not authorized to process, or content that infringes another person’s rights. Do not probe, disrupt, scrape, resell, or bypass service limits or access controls.
Payments
Prices and billing intervals are shown before checkout. Single Review purchases add a review credit to your account or unlock the identified project when purchased for one; subscriptions renew for the displayed interval until cancelled through the billing portal. Taxes and refund rights are handled as required by applicable law and the checkout terms.
Availability and liability
The service is provided on an “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by law, PaperProof is not liable for publication decisions, lost opportunities, indirect damages, or reliance on generated feedback. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
Suspension and changes
We may suspend access to protect users, the service, or legal rights. We may update these terms and will publish the effective date; material changes will be communicated where required. Continued use after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance.
